Maintenance
So far, weedy willow trees have been removed, while trash, leaves and old stalks have been raked out.
Here's the remaining work urgently needed in the next month:
- Mark borders of rain garden to prevent damage from mowing.
- Improve signage and borders so people accessing the soccer field don't trample the garden.
- Weeding out the dandelion, burdock and grass.
Someone is needed to watch the garden over the summer, and water it if there's a prolonged drought.
